Prices Increase for Michigan Recreation Passports

If you plan on visiting a State Park next year, the state is giving you an incentive to buy a Recreation Passport when you register your vehicle.

The passports give you access to Michigan’s state managed out door destinations including State Parks, historic sites and boat launches.

If you buy the passport with your vehicle registration, it’ll cost you $11.

However, starting January 1, if you wait to buy a passport when you show up at a State Park it’ll cost you $5 more.
