Michigan State Police Cadillac Post Takes Donations For Stuff A Blue Goose
Troopers from the Michigan State Police Cadillac post, stuffed a blue goose full of toys Saturday.
Troopers were collecting any kind of toy and non-perishable food item to stuff in their patrol cars.
The Cadillac Post is donating all items raised to the Department of Health and Human Services and the Salvation Army.
They took toys for any age person.
Trooper Kathleen Wicker says they are thankful to Wal-Mart for letting them do the event there.
She also said it was amazing to see how the community came together to donate.
“It’s nice to be able to give back to our community. We live and work in our communities and we want people to know that we do care and people see us sometimes in bad situations and we want them to know we’re here for them in the good times too,” says Wicker.
The Cadillac post is having another Stuff a Blue Goose event next Saturday in Manistee at the Victorian City Car Port from noon to four.
