California Firefighters Continue Battling Four Major Wildfires

Firefighters battling four major wildfires in California are bracing for conditions to worsen.

The Los Angeles County sheriff says the area is bracing for hurricane force winds.

So far, the fires have destroyed tens of thousands of acres and burned 200 buildings to the ground, including many homes.

Right now, multi-million dollar homes in bel Air are in danger and helicopters are dumping water on hotspots there.

The largest fire is in Ventura County.

People living there are forced to wear masks because of poor air quality.

As the fires continue to burn out of control, firefighters are asking for more help to fight the flames.

2017 has been the worst fire season in California history.
