Cadillac Business Collects Gifts For Local Seniors

A Northern Michigan business is collecting gifts for seniors this holiday season.

Rockin’ Robyin’s Ceramics and Crafts in Cadillac is looking for donations of things like blankets, slippers, puzzles and books.

The public is also invited to come in during business hours to paint a Christmas ornament for free, which will then be donated to a local senior.

They plan to give the gifts to the Welford County Council on Aging.

“I noticed that there was a big need for seniors,” said Rockin’ Robyin’s Owner, Robyin Lemke. “They didn’t have a lot of things, family at Christmas time. A lot of them are lonely. So gifts for seniors was a good idea so they would feel appreciated and have something nice for Christmas.”

You can drop off donations at the box in Rockin’ Robyin’s lobby through December 15.

Rockin’ Robyin’s is open Wednesday – Friday 10:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. and Saturday 10:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m.

The business is located at 202 E Nelson Street in Cadillac.
