Adopt a Pet Tuesday: Star, Mildred & Jane
It’s Adopt a Pet Tuesday on Michigan This Morning!
This week we have Star, Mildred and Jane– just three of Northern Michigan’s many great, adoptable animals waiting for a loving family to take them home.
Star is an adult female whippet & Staffordshire bull terrier mix. She is housetrained and up-to-date on shots. Star prefers a house without small children because she tends to knock them down. She comes from a home with multiple pets, but can be picky about who she takes a liking to. While Star is shy, she opens up after a few meaty treats. Star is waiting to meet her forever family at the Wexford County Animal Shelter in Cadillac.
Mildred is a 12-year old female domestic shorthair mix. She’s brown and orange in color and she’s not de-clawed. Mildred is an all-star cuddler and keeps calm in nearly all situation. She is a great listener and loves a good snack. If you want to take Mildred home, you can meet her at the Cherryland Humane Society in Traverse City.
Jane is an adult female American Staffordshire terrier & hound mix. She’s housetrained, microchipped and up-to-date on shots. Jane prefers a house without cats. She also has a severe allergy condition and needs certain foods. Jane is very affectionate, motivated and very willing to learn. She’s at the Ausable Valley Animal Shelter now, but she can’t wait to see her new home!
Tune in to MTM each Tuesday at 5:20 a.m. and 8:50 a.m. for more lovable Northern Michigan pets in search of families of their own!
