CBS News Fires Charlie Rose

Charlie Rose has been fired from CBS News after eight women came forward accusing him of sexual harassment.

Charlie Rose is known for co-hosting CBS This Morning and for contributing to 60 Minutes.

The women in this case say they worked for “Charlie Rose Incorporated.”

They’re accusing of him of making unwanted sexual advances.

Rose said in a statement “I deeply apologize for my inappropriate behavior. I am greatly embarrassed.  I have behaved insensitively at times, and I accept responsibility for that, though I do not believe that all of these allegations are accurate.”

The president of CBS News said there is nothing more important than assuring a safe, professional workplace.
