Ludington’s House of Flavors Receives Grant For Expansion

Ludington ice cream maker House of Flavors is expanding with help from the state, bringing 30 new jobs along with it.

It will start the project with help from the Michigan Strategic Fund.

The business, around since the early 1900s, has already invested $30 million in its manufacturing facility.

But because of new pollution laws, and to keep up with demand, House of Flavors was awarded a $240,000 grant by the Michigan Business Development program to help with the expansion.
