Lucky’s Market in Traverse City Donating Percentage of Sales to Nonprofit

“We just want to be doing as much as we can.”

A Traverse City market is doing its part to give back for the holiday season.

Lucky’s Market in Traverse City is running a special sales campaign designed to help their community.

Until December 13, 10 percent of sales on Lucky’s brand grocery items will be donated to the Northwest Michigan Community Action Agency.

The money will provide food for those in need.

Workers say it’s part of their effort to be more than just a market.

“We’re not this giant company that comes in and just plops it down and says here we are. Like, people don’t know us and you know, we want to be a part of Traverse City,”
