Binge-Watching Could Increase Risk For Blood Clots

A new study shows binge-watching your favorite TV shows may be putting you at risk for dangerous blood clots.

The American Heart Association found TV watchers who don’t take an occasional break, have a 70 percent higher risk of a blood clot that blocks blood flow in a vein.

Doctors say blood clots in the legs, arms, pelvis and lungs rise with the amount of time sitting.

Researchers suggest watching TV in moderation or exercise during and before you sit down to watch.
