Traverse City Nonprofits: Inland Seas, PEACE Ranch Recognized for Impact on Community

Over at the Hagerty Center in Traverse City, two nonprofits received generous awards for their impact on the area.

Inland Seas and PEACE Ranch were both chosen by members of Impact 100 Traverse City to receive grants for nearly $125,000.

The women’s philanthropy organization donates 100 percent of its membership money back into the community.

Award winners were impressed by the support they received from the group.

“It just screams of the wonderful community that we live in, that we have so many people coming out to provide this kind of support. It truly is an impactful gift, this is going to make a huge difference for inland seas, for the community of Traverse City, for our Great Lakes. It’s a wonderful opportunity,” Fred Stikins, executive director, Inland Seas said.

Impact 100 also celebrated the success of their inaugural year and say they will continue adding members.
