President Trump Visits US Air Base While Visiting Japan

President Trump is in Japan to talk with world leaders about rising tensions with North Korea.

The goal of his 12 day trip though Asia is to reassure allies that the U.S. will stand with them in the face of nuclear threats from the rogue nation.

President Trump’s first stop was a United States air base, where he renewed his pledge to defend Japan.

In recent months, North Korea has launched two ballistic missiles over Japan.

The president is scheduled to meet with Russian President Vladimir Putin later this week.
