Kidde Recalls More Than 4.6 Million Fire Extinguishers
More than 4.6 million fire extinguishers being recalled in the U.S. and Canada for plastic valves that may not discharge when pressed and released.
The company Kidde has received 11 reports of the extinguishers failing to discharge.
The recall includes models with Zytel plastic black valves, which are red, white or silver in color, and either ABC or BC rated.
The extinguishers were sold in retail stores and online from August 2013 through November 2014.
Luckily, no injuries have been reported.
