Barack Obama Kicks Off Foundation Summit In Chicago

Wednesday marks day two of former President Barack Obama’s Foundation Summit in Chicago.

The goal is for community leaders to exchange ideas to promote positive change in their areas.

Nearly 500 civil leaders came together Tuesday in the 44th president’s hometown.

Organizers say they want summit participants to use creative energy to inspire and encourage people.

They also say it’s not about politics.

The summit is just one of the many foundation projects.
