Alpena Woman Accused of Stealing Money From Restaurant Register
An Alpena woman is facing charges of larceny after Michigan State Police say she stole money from a restaurant’s register.
Police say it happened just after 3:30 Tuesday afternoon at the Mandarin Gardens restaurant in Alpena Township.
Employees at the restaurant say a woman came in to submit an employment application.
When she left, they say she had taken money from the register.
The woman was later arrested at her home in Alpena and taken to the county jail where she’s awaiting arraignment on felony charges of larceny in a building.
