Everyone OK After Crash Between Pickup, Unmarked MSP Car

Everyone is OK after a crash between an pickup truck and an unmarked Michigan State Police detective’s car.

It happened Tuesday morning on Charles Brink Road in Otsego County.

Troopers on scene say the Chevy pickup was turning around the corner when it slid on the slushy road and went into the other lane.

The pickup hit an unmarked detective’s car and both vehicles came to halt on opposite sides of the road.

Air bags were deployed, but both drivers were alone and are OK.

With this being one of the first snow-related accidents of the year, troopers have a warning for drivers.

In Otsego County, roads are covered in slushy, wet snow, so there’s a good chance these roads will be slick when the sun goes down.
