The Manistee County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a house explosion.
It happened Sunday night just before 10:00 on Hoxeyville Road in Wellston.
Deputies arrived to the home fully engulfed in flames.
The sheriff’s office says the home is owned by a Mancelona man who hasn’t been there in a week.
Luckily, no one was hurt.
Details are limited at this time but according to Manistee Central Dispatch, several calls from neighbors reported a large explosion, followed by smaller ones.
The Michigan State Police Fire Marshall will be on scene Monday in investigate the explosion.
