Harvey Weinstein Takes Leave Of Absence Amid Sexual Harassment Claims
Hollywood big-wig Harvey Weinstein is accused of sexually harassing numerous female employees over the decades.
Weinstein is now taking a leave of absence from his company.
The allegations span from the 1980s to 2015 and include at least eight legal settlements.
Actress Ashley Judd told the New York Times Weinstein made several sexual advances to her at a hotel two decades ago, despite her telling him she wasn’t interested.
In a written statement, Weinstein apologized for his behavior, saying “I came of age in the 60s and 70s, when all the rules about behavior and workplaces were different.”
Weinstein’s production company has brought many hits to the big screen, including “Pulp Fiction,” “Good Will Hunting” and “Django Unchained.”
