Harbor Springs Gun Shop Collecting Food for Students in Need

A Northern Michigan gun shop and training facility is filling an ambulance with food to help local students in need.

Throughout the month of October, WildWood Firearms in Harbor Springs is collecting donations of nonperishable food items.

The food will be donated to the Northmen Den, an organization who makes meals for students in need.

The shop says they are always looking for ways to give back and hope to get as much food as they can by the end of the month.

“We are looking for things that the kids would like to eat and what’s good for them, sometimes there’s a conflict there, but we are going to take anything we can that’s nonperishable,” Owner Brett Gooding, explained.

To donate you can drop off food at their location on M-119 in Harbor Springs.
