Fiat Chrysler Recalls 710,000 Jeep Grand Cherokees, Dodge Durangos

Fiat Chrysler is recalling hundreds of thousands of vehicles in North America because of faulty brakes.

The recall covers more than 710,000 Jeep Grand Cherokees and Dodge Durangos between the 2011 and 2014 model years.

The automaker says an improperly installed brake shield could allow water to leak in, which can limit the vehicle’s braking ability.

Fiat Chrysler says it knows of at least one potentially related crash but no injuries.

The recall is expected to go into effect November 7.
