Traverse City businesses were hosting events to bring people downtown to celebrate fall.
Fustini’s Oils and Vinegars hosted what they call a local party Saturday evening.
They say they wanted to invite locals to their store for cooking demonstrations, live music and a taste of their new West Michigan Blueberry Balsamic Vinegar.
Saturday night, sales of each new bottle of West Michigan Blueberry went to Food Rescue of Northwest Michigan.
Manager Liz Lancashire says, “We’re just really grateful how we’ve been embraced by the community and Food Rescue does such good work in the community that we always like to draw attention to them if we can.”
For every bottle of West Michigan Blueberry sold in the month of October Fustini’s will donate a meal to Food Rescue.
