It may feel like we’re in the peak of the summer season, but fall officially starts on Friday!
In this week’s What’s Trending Wednesday, we’re sharing a few ways you can usher in the new season.
Take a Hayride
One of the best ways to enjoy the fall colors in Northern Michigan is to go on a hayride!
Rides at in Petoskey take you through the farm’s fields before Bill himself treats you with apple cider, donuts and a pumpkin.
Public hay rides take place on Saturdays at 2:00 p.m.
Visit a Pumpkin Patch
It may be over a month from Halloween, but it’s not too early to find your favorite jack-o-lantern.
At in Buckley, which opens on Saturday, your kids can take a train ride through the patch as you pick the perfect pumpkin.
The patch is open through the end of October.
Get Lost In a Corn Maze
While you’re at it, why not get lost in a corn maze?
Harvest season is right around the corner, which means there’s no better time to visit a corn maze than now!
in Traverse City is honoring the U.S. Coast Guard this year, and will be open until October 29.
