Detroit Man Sentenced to Probation After Admitting to Shooting Police Officers

A Detroit man has been sentenced to two years of probation after pleading guilty to shooting two police officers.

It happened earlier this year when Juwan Plummer says he thought the officers were burglars.

Plummer pleaded guilty to shooting the officers, resulting in the dismissal of two charges of felonious assault.

He will now spend two years on probation under the Holmes Youthful Training Act.

If he complies with all of the terms of his probation, Plummer will avoid a felony criminal record.
