Texas Underwater as Tropical Storm Harvey Refuses to Let Up

Areas of Houston, Texas are underwater as tropical storm Harvey refuses to let up.

The rain may stick around for a few more days, which could mean very bad news for tens of thousands of people.

Rescue crews are now using boats and high-water vehicles to rescue residents left stranded by the unrelenting storm.

So far crews have rescued about 2,000 flood victims, but they warn there’s no way of knowing how many more could still be trapped inside homes.

Houston’s mayor says the goal now is to reach anyone still in need of being rescued.

The Red Cross is now offering shelter, meals and comfort to people impacted by tropical storm Harvey and you can help. They’re accepting donations by phone, text or online.
