What’s Growing With Tom: Week 10

This week’s garden segment is less about the vegetables and more about how to make it better.

Justin Morgan from joined me to talk about organic composting.

We know compost is decaying organic material, and people want to know how they can make their garden better as well. One can always make their own compost pile with leftover grasses, vegetables, etc. but it takes a long time to decay and breakdown.

Morgan Composting has several options to make things move along quicker, depending on your situation and the time of year. He gave me suggestions on what to do over the next few weeks and plan into the fall.

Key thing this fall is pulling up the plants and cutting them up and throwing in some Dairy Doo to help break the organic material down.

This sets up the soil for next year’s garden.
