MTM On The Road: Ann’s Chutney

A relish-like condiment that’s a balance of both sweet and sour is growing in popularity in Northern Michigan. The name of the condiment is chutney. It’s a traditional Indian cuisine that Lake Leelanau company, Ann’s Chutneys, is making in five different flavors. Ann and her husband started their company, Ann’s Chutney, after a trip to England where they fell in love with the delicious cuisine and knew they needed to bring it back to the United States. The couple makes their chutney traditionally which requires a long slow-cooking of fruits, sugar, and vinegar. Today our On The Road team is donning their apron to learn more about Ann and how her tasty chutney can be used in everyday meals.

To contact Ann for an order of her scrumptious chutney call 231-256-7186.
