Elk Rapids Parents Sentenced to Jail for Hosting Party with Underage Drinking

An Elk Rapids couple who hosted a party with underage drinking has been sentenced to jail.

Geoffrey Boylan will spend 60 days in jail.

His wife Duanne Boylan will serve 30 days after Geoffrey is done serving his time.

The two pleaded guilty to the crimes last month.

Earlier this year, the parents helped their 18-year-old daughter host a party for Elk Rapids high schoolers at their Williamsburg home, and joined in on drinking games with the teens.
