The White House: President Trump Had Second, Undisclosed Meeting With Vladimir Putin

The White House says President Trump had a second, undisclosed meeting with Russian president Vladimir Putin at the G-20 Summit earlier this month.

This is separate from the formal meeting that lasted more than two hours earlier that day.

It was an hour long one-on-one discussion only overheard by a Russian interpreter.

It comes after U.S. intelligence officials have accused the Russian government of interfering in the 2016 president election to help Trump win.

Many feel it was an inappropriate meeting to have given that investigation.

But the White House describes the meeting as routine and brief.
