President Trump Announces Pick For US Ambassador To Russia
In the wake of the controversy over Russia, President Trump has selected his nominee for the U.S. Ambassador to Russia.
The White House announced Tuesday that former Utah Governor Jon Huntsman has been tapped to fill the key diplomatic post.
Huntsman served as U.S. Ambassador to China during the Obama administration and launched an unsuccessful presidential bid in 2012.
Huntsman is certain to face questions about Russia’s alleged attempts to influence the 2016 presidential election during his Senate confirmation hearing.
