MTM On The Road: Williamsburg’s Great Lakes Equestrian Festival

This summer you can watch horseback riders from around the world compete in the fast-paced sport of show jumping. It’s the Great Lakes Equestrian Festival. The world-renown event is held every July and August at Williamsburg’s Flintfields Horse Park.

The festival takes place for seven weeks, throughout those days attendees can expect premier hunter-jumper competitions, weekly classes and classics for children, juniors, adult, and amateur-owner rides. Come ride horseback with On The Road as we learn more about the fast-paced world of show jumping and the famous festival that’s drawn thousands to Northern Michigan for years.
