A traffic stop turned into an arrest when Michigan State Troopers found marijuana and a large sword inside the car in Roscommon County.
A Houghton Lake man was pulled over for having an improper license plate on Wednesday in Denton Township.
He was found to be driving on a suspended license and without insurance.
Police searched the vehicle and seized marijuana, the sword and other various equipment used to distribute narcotics.
MSP’s Houghton Lake Post says he was brought to the Roscommon County Jail for several offenses, and more charges are being sought with the prosecutor’s office.
