Storms Leave Hundreds Without Power Across Northern Michigan
Strong thunder storms that swept across Northern Michigan left nearly 1,500 people in the dark Thursday morning.
Another 1,600 people near Cadillac lost power early in the afternoon.
Right now lights are back on for most of Northern Michigan.
The outages impacted mostly Consumers Energy and Great Lakes Energy customers.
Consumers Energy restored power Cadillac, as well as more than 1,400 customers in the dark across Leelanau, Missaukee,Osceola, Lake, Ogemaw, Midland and Newaygo counties.
Power was also restored for 200 Great Lakes Energy customers across Lake, Oscecola, Kalkaska and Emmet counties.
