Detroit Medical Center: Data Breach Impacted 1,500 Patients

The Detroit Medical Center says a data breach impacted 1,500 of its patients.

The breach happened at one of their facilities between 2015 and 2016.

The medical center says it was tipped off about an employee, providing information to someone who did not work there.

The DMC has notified police and is offering credit monitoring for the impacted patients.
