New App Aims to Help Teen Drivers, Parents and Police
A new app for parents is looking to cut down on the number of teen traffic accidents in Michigan by kicking bad driving habits to the curb.
The app is called "STOPPED," which stands for Sheriffs Telling Our Parents and Promoting Educated Drivers.
It works by sending a notification to parents when their child has been pulled over by police.
The objective is to get parents to talk with their kids by opening up a dialogue to help them correct their mistake.
