Thousands in the Dark Across Northern Michigan

Storms rolling through Northern Michigan have left thousands in the dark.

Consumers Energy is reporting more than 15,000 without power in Leelanau, Oscoda, Crawford, Benzie, Ogemaw, Roscommon, Missaukee, Manistee, Osceola and Newaygo county.

The majority of those outages are in Crawford, Benzie, Ogemaw and Roscommon county. 

Consumers says some homes may not get power restored until late Sunday night. 

Just over 450 Great Lakes Energy customers are in the dark in Lake, Mecosta, Newaygo, Oceana, Antrim and Osceola county.   

Less than 100 Cherryland Electric Co-Op customers are also without power.
