One of the many events at the Traverse City Cherry Festival has the interests of wine and food lovers in mind.
It’s called Red, White, and Indigo Blue, hosted at Hotel Indigo.
Tuesday was the first time for the event. It’s called a ‘strolling wine and food affair,’ showcasing delicious wines reflective of the local terroir, or natural environment the wine was made in.
You walk around the event tasting perfectly-paired wine and food.
Tastings continue Tuesday at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m.
