Woman Runs From Scene of Car Crash In Leelanau Co.

A crash in Leelanau County lead deputies to a woman in an unusual situation.

Deputies say the crash happened around 10 p.m. Sunday on M-22 near East Lakeview Hills.

A witness says a Cadillac crossed the center line and collided with another car.

The woman driving the Cadillac ran from the scene.

A few hours later a deputy patrolling the area found a woman walking around dirty and with cuts on her legs.

She was arrested for leaving the scene of a crash and suspicion of driving while intoxicated.  

The driver and passenger in the other car were taken to the hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
