Testimony Begins in Trial Against Man Charged in MSP Trooper’s Death

The testimony began Monday in the trial of a man charged in the death of a Michigan State Trooper.

Charles Warren is charged with reckless driving causing death and failure to stop at the scene of an accident causing death.

Prosecutors say the 71-year-old was hauling a trailer when he collided with Trooper Chad Wolf on his motorcycle and dragged him nearly four miles.

It happened almost two years ago in Oakland County.

At that time, Warren claimed he did not know he hit anyone.
