Man Accused of Driving Truck into Oceana Co. Store Sent to Downstate Psychiatric Facility

A man who crashed through a store in Oceana County earlier this month has been sent to a psychiatric facility.

He drove a truck through the main entrance of Shopko in Hart. Luckily, no one was hurt.

Matthew Krueger is charged with malicious destruction of a building, felonious assault and reckless driving.

Court officials tell us Krueger has been sent downstate to undergo psychiatric testing.

Back in 2015, Krueger was found not guilty by reason of insanity after being accused of making a bomb threat and crashing his pickup truck into the gate at the U.S. Coast Guard Station Grand Haven.

He also was accused of setting his house on fire.
