Silent Auction Looks To Raise Money For New Kalkaska Co. Library Building

A Northern Michigan library is holding their annual art auction to build a new library.

The Friends of the Kalkaska County Library will hold their second annual painted chair and art silent auction.

Six chairs were decorated by locals and there are a few other art pieces as well.

All auction items are available for bidding until June 21.

The money raised will benefit the new library building that the city of Kalkaska has been working towards.

“I think everyone wants to support the library and a new library, and people get a wonderful piece of art at the same time they are supporting the friends of the library,” says Friends of the Kalkaska County Library President, Marilyn Coville.

You can bid on any of the items during library hours.
