US Astronauts Make History With 200th Spacewalk at International Space Station

A celebration in space!

Two U.S. astronauts made history Friday with the 200th spacewalk at the International Space Station.

Peggy Whitson and Jack Fischer ran into some trouble prior to the walk after an equipment water leak.

Water leaked from the connection point between the hose and Fischer’s suit.

The connection is one of two that provide water, oxygen, power, cooling and communications for astronauts before they float outside.

Whitson recently set a record for most cumulative days in space.
