Gymnast Testifies Against Former MSU Doctor Accused Of Sexually Assaulting Gymnasts

Another victim testified against Dr. Larry Nassar.

The former Michigan State University sport-medicine physician is accused of sexually assaulting young gymnasts.

In a courtroom, Rachael Denhollander offered explicit testimony, stating Nassar repeatedly molested her in 2000, when she was a 15-year-old gymnast seeking help for back pain.

She said Nassar assaulted her with his hands on many visits, while her mother was in the room.

She said she trusted him because he worked for USA gymnastics, which trains Olympians.

This hearing will determine if there is enough evidence to send Nassar to trial.

He’s charged with assaulting seven young gymnasts at his Michigan State University clinic, and has pleaded not guilty.
