Fiat Chrysler Recalls Nearly 1 Million Trucks Over Software Glitch

Fiat Chrysler is recalling nearly 1 million trucks in the U.S. due to a software glitch that may prevent side air bags from deploying and seatbelts from working during a rollover crash.

The recall includes 2013 through 2016 Ram 1500 and 2500 pickups and Ram 3500 pickups made in 2014 through 2016.

The company says so far one person has died, two have been injured, and two accidents may be related to the problem.

Fiat-Chrysler plans to reprogram the software in the affected pickups.
