Spring time means more garage sales are popping up across Northern Michigan.
That includes the Father Fred Foundation in Traverse City.
The nonprofit is holding their 24th annual Spring Garage Sale fundraiser on Saturday.
It is one of their biggest fundraisers throughout the year.
All proceeds will go to helping the foundation’s families in need.
The garage sale will have everything from antiques and furniture to clothes and toys.
“So if we sell those things at very very reasonable prices, it helps us reduce our excess inventory, and it also gives us money to help with people’s emergency financial needs, helping food in our food pantry, those basic needs that our community members have,” says Volunteer coordinator, Sue Bauer.
The garage sale is happening Saturday from 9:00 – 4:00 at the Father Fred Foundation on Hastings Street in Traverse City.
