Osceola Co. Man Arrested for Violating Probation, Meth-Making Materials Found

A man already on probation is back in trouble after police say they found meth making materials in the house he was staying at.

It was part of operation nighthawk, where Traverse Narcotics Team detectives, Michigan Dept. of Corrections and the Osceola County Sheriff’s Office check homes of people on parole or probation.

When checking on a man in a home in Evart Township, the say they found chemicals used to make meth.

He was arrested for violating probation but not yet arraigned.

Police say meth charges are being sought.
