A man is going to prison for having sex with a boy in Mason County.
Jordan Bates will spend at least 20 years behind bars.
He sexually assaulted a 12-year-old boy last June in Ludington.
Bates and the victim knew each other.
Bates pleaded guilty to first-degree sex crimes back in March.
He must also be electronically monitored for the rest of his life.
