Leelanau County deputies arrested a wanted Texas man.
Deputies first got a “be on the lookout” call for a car with Texas plates Monday night in Suttons Bay.
They were tipped off about a possible drunk driver.
They pulled over Rocky Caudillo from Texas.
That’s when deputies learned he was wanted in the state for failure to comply with sex offender registration requirements.
Caudillo’s criminal history includes, burglary, promotion of prostitution, indecency with a child and stealing a car.
He is now in the Leelanau County Jail on a fugitive from justice charge.
A passenger from Texas was also arrested for having open alcohol in a car.
