The City Opera House is unveiling its upcoming season lineup with a special premiere party.

500 people are expected at the City Opera House in Traverse City Tuesday night.

They’ll get the first look at this season’s events.

9&10’s Whitney Amann was at the premiere party with a sneak peek at what to expect.

Throughout the night there will be almost 500 people.

People are filling up the theatre.

Guests will be able to purchase tickets ahead of the general public.

They can enjoy some appetizers while visiting different stations to learn about the shows coming up this season.

Guests will also have the chance to win a Broadway Bound tour package.

The exciting part is that the new lineup will not be announced to the public until Tuesday night, but we got a sneak peek at some of the special performances.

“We’re really excited about the season in that we have 12 world class touring shows and the top 3 that seem to be trending now are live on with Oliva Newton John, the Manhattan Transfer and also the Birdland Allstars with drummer Tommy Igo. They are from New York City and they are the ultimate in the jazz club bands,” Kristi Dockter, director of marketing, City Opera House said.
