A man accused of leading deputies on three separate car chases in two days is now officially charged.
Emmet County deputies say they got a tip Thursday that Roger Millbrandt Jr. removed his tether and had a stolen license plate.
They found his car Friday in Center Township and tried to stop him, but he sped off.
Deputies had to call off that chase because of how fast he was going.
Later that day, they found him again, but because schools were letting out for the day and the driver’s high speeds, the chase was called off a second time.
Then on Saturday, they found Millbrandt in Cross Village Township and arrested him.
He’s now charged with running from police, stealing a license plate and removing a tether — all felonies.
