Google Docs Phishing Scheme Targets Victims Through Email

Be careful when checking your emails as a widespread phishing scheme is targeting people across the internet.

The attack comes in as an email that looks like it’s coming from a trusted source.

It asks you to open a Google document and, if opened, gives the attackers access to your account and contacts.

A cyber-security expert says anyone who clicked on the link should check their Google App permissions and remove the one called ‘Google Docs.’

Right now, it’s not clear how widespread the attack is or who is behind it.
