Downstate Firearms Instructor Accidentally Shoots Man At Training Class

A firearms instructor in Wayne County accidentally shot and wounded a man at a gun training class.

It happened Saturday, but details are just now being released.

It happened at a gun range near Livonia.

Police say the instructor pulled his gun out of its holster, pointed it at a door and fired a round.

A man in another room was hit in both legs.

The instructor could face charges.
